Join a performance-driven, collaborative team at one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products.

What This Role Feels Like Day to Day

As the Level 3 lead for your line, you arrive ready to own the shift. You verify the plan, position the team, and bring the line up safely. When something hiccups, you’re the first to troubleshoot—escalating to maintenance when needed—so targets and quality hold steady. You keep detailed records, uphold GMP, and mentor operators while coordinating setup, changeovers, cleaning, and batching so the line stays reliable, compliant, and efficient.

Schedule, Training, and Pay
  • Permanent schedule: 3rd shift, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m., Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays as business requires.
  • Training: Approximately 6–8 weeks on 1st or 2nd shift based on the line (1st shift: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.; 2nd shift: 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.).
  • Transition timing: Move to 3rd shift is expected in January or February. You must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift until then and commit to 3rd shift long term.
  • Hourly rate: $27.63 per hour.
Your Impact
  • Lead filling operations each shift, coordinating line manning and scheduling while keeping production organized, safe, and on pace.
  • Own day-to-day line execution; react quickly to disruptions and apply first-line troubleshooting, engaging maintenance for complex issues.
  • Set up, change over, clean, and restart equipment to standard; verify weights, fill levels, and package integrity meet specs.
  • Champion safety, quality, and GMP compliance; identify hazards and take swift corrective action.
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust fillers and related equipment to hit output and quality goals.
  • Train and mentor operators; communicate clearly with supervisors, maintenance, and support teams.
  • Maintain precise production documentation, logs, and reports; support continuous improvement to boost efficiency and cut waste.
  • Keep quality visuals and checks current: hourly production board updates; component verification; bottle/label visual inspection; and date code verification.
  • Execute changeovers for commodity products (cap changes, line clearance, assist mechanics as needed).
  • Run the continuous blending/batching process for the line by following detailed procedures precisely.
  • Perform math (addition, subtraction, division) to complete batching calculations.
  • Safely handle chemicals (including bleach and ammonia), make tank switches, and carry out the valve change process.
  • Complete all required paperwork and conduct quality checks such as titration, filter testing, water hardness testing, and product testing.
  • Follow established guidelines for wastewater treatment.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Hands-on manufacturing and machine operation experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Keen safety awareness; able to spot unsafe conditions and act.
  • Sound judgment and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator and dependable teammate with strong quality focus.
  • Ability to provide daily direction to operators and support safe plan execution.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, changing production setting and following detailed instructions.
  • Ability to work safely in a chemical environment (bleach, ammonia).
  • Preferred: Experience with fillers, case packers, cappers, case sealers, palletizers, or labelers.
  • Preferred: Prior lead experience or similar manufacturing leadership (2 years leading and/or supervising in a manufacturing warehouse environment is highly preferred).
  • Preferred: Background in training/mentoring operators and driving continuous improvement.
