Job summary

Qualified applicants have 5–10 years of related experience, including 3 years in supervision, knowledge of Baader/Auto-Toyo or similar gear, and strong troubleshooting, leadership, and safety skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of college, vocational training, or a related technical degree preferred.
• Five to ten years of related maintenance experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Experience maintaining and repairing production or processing equipment.
• Knowledge of Baader, Auto-Toyo, or similar fish-processing equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, other departments, and outside contractors.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment.
• Promote teamwork, workplace organization, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

UniSea is seeking an experienced Fillet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. This position supervises and performs maintenance and repairs on complex fish-processing equipment, including Baader and Auto-Toyo equipment, to support safe, continuous, and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in and around an active seafood-processing facility.
• Frequent exposure to cold, wet, noisy, and other production conditions.
• Schedule may vary based on production and maintenance needs.

Pay and Benefits

• Hourly wage range: $31.57–$42.05, depending on experience.
• This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay.
