Job summary

Dairy Challenge is seeking a Filler Operator in the United States (Utah - Cedar City) to ensure optimum quality products through operating the filler for various product families, while maintaining cleanliness and sterility in compliance with regulatory standards.

The role involves setting up, operating and monitoring equipment on the production line, performing quality checks, documenting processes and collaborating with teams to prevent downtime and ensure accurate packaging and labeling.

Qualifications

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set up, operate and monitor production line equipment.
• Complete documentation and quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps and packaging.
• Adjust filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate issues.
• Collect samples for QA testing.
• Ensure correct packaging materials are used.
• Operate labeler; prevent jams and wrap errors.
• Perform safe line changeovers.
• Complete cleaning checklist after run.
• Prepare equipment for next run including size changes.
• Communicate with other departments about issues.
