Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting process data and equipment performance.
• Data to improve quality and throughput.
• Basic math competency required to perform calculations.
• Overtime and working on holidays are often required.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment.
• Complete all required quality checks and documentation.
• Collect the required samples for Quality Assurance testing.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging of the product.
• Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check vat as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Perform filler equipment and line changeovers for the next run safely.
• Monitor wrapper operations; watch for jams and thread product wrap.
• Complete the cleaning checklist after the run.
• Follow sanitation and quality policies and report deficiencies.
• Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product.
