Job summary

Synergy Flavors in Hamilton, OH is hiring a Filler Operator to run and monitor filling equipment, ensuring product quality and safety. The role requires GMP compliance, the ability to work with allergens, and hands-on experience in a food manufacturing environment.

The position is onsite on the first shift with standard production hours. You will perform setup, cleaning, CIP, and routine maintenance while documenting CCP checks and logs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• LOTO certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understand and follow GMPs and SOPs.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production filler equipment to ensure food safety and product quality.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, leak testing and general packaging.
• Set up, operate and clean filler machines; perform CIP.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance checks.
• Perform changeovers and ensure correct packaging and coding for next item.
• Record CCP checks and maintain accurate logs and inventory records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE and LOTO procedures.
• Report safety issues or malfunctions to supervision and participate in shift meetings.
