Job summary

Reiter Dairy, part of Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a qualified Filler Operator to ensure quality products on the production line. The role focuses on operating the filler and labeler equipment, performing quality checks, and documenting results to uphold product standards.

Candidates will monitor packaging, troubleshoot line issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for overtime and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, push, or pull for the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
• Work in a wet environment with cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the filler and labeler equipment on the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate line issues.
• Prepare equipment for next run and changeovers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area and follow GMPs.
• Report any safety or quality issues to management promptly.
