Job summary

Saputo is hiring in the USA for a manufacturing operator responsible for running filling lines and related equipment. You will monitor product quality and ensure smooth operation of de-wheying, Rotary Press, CIP and data entry tasks during 4pm–4am rotations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You’ll work in a hot environment, follow GMPs and SOPs, and contribute to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficient in use of the computer.
• Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs; maintain sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot environments (>90°F).
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Quality and appearance of the product.
• Operate de-wheying, form filling equipment and Rotary Press.
• Data entry and basic PLC machine setup.
• Operate CIP processes and proper documentation.
• React quickly when needed.
• Run functions of the filler, drain belt, tracks and Rotary Press.
• Ensure continuous product flow to prevent plugs.
• Operate pH meter and sampling.
• Clean filler, tracking, pumps, conveyors and rotary press.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
• Operate de-wheying, form filling equipment and Rotary Press
• Complete appropriate data entry/basic PLC machine set up
• Operate CIP processes and proper documentation
• Must be able to react quickly
• Ability to run all functions of the filler, drain belt, and tracks and Rotary Press
• Ensure product has continuous flow to prevent plugs
• Operate pH meter and sampling
• Clean filler and tracking, pumps, conveyors, and rotary press
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals and conduct concentration checks

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Compliance with food safety policies
• Follow GMPs and SOPs
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Must be able to work in a hot environment over 90 degrees F
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Requires regular attendance

Starting Wage $27.43 per hour

schedule 4pm-4am on 2-2-3 rotation
