Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking a well-versed machine (filler) operator to perform setup, maintenance, and operation of filling equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, process materials, and ensure GMP compliance while meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions and recordkeeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up filling machines and related equipment.
• Maintain, breakdown and troubleshoot equipment to resolve basic to moderate issues.
• Ensure GMP compliance and accurate documentations; meet daily production deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with all departments to coordinate production activities.

Job description

T.G. Lee Dairyhas immediate job openings for well-versed machine (filler) operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

SCHEDULE:

• OFF days will be Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
• 2nd shift = Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am

RATE OF PAY:

• $21.50 per hour

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to use company computer systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to follow directions
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
