Job summary

Lactalis USA is seeking a Filler Machine Operator in Brattleboro, VT to join our 12-hour rotating shift team. You will operate filling/packaging equipment, sanitize and assemble gear, monitor product flow, and support quality and safety requirements in a fast-paced dairy production environment.

Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience with filling equipment or mechanical troubleshooting is preferred.

• Experience operating filling machines preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to personal hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling/Packaging equipment and follow quality, productivity, OSHA and safety standards.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing per instructions.
• Monitor and control product flow through the machine.
• Follow testing procedures and provide samples for laboratory assessment.
• Maintain food safety and quality by keeping area sanitary.
• Wear required food safety clothing and comply with hygiene rules.
• Report food safety issues to the authorized personnel.
• Ensure programs are upheld and documentation is current.

12hr Rotating Shifts6p-6a (2 on, 2 off and every other weekend)

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

• Operate filling/Packaging equipment, adhering to all quality assurance, productivity, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing and operating per manufacture instructions
• Monitor and control the flow of product through machine.
• Adhere to established testing procedures and provide required samples to the laboratory for appraisal prior to finished product being stored in the warehouse.
• Maintain food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
• Required to wear food safety/sanitation clothing.
• This position necessitates conformance to personal hygiene regulations.
• Report food safety problems to personal with authority to initiate action.
• Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
