Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a manufacturing operator on 2nd shift to set up, run, and maintain equipment used to fill and package products. Responsibilities include operating high-speed dispersers, filling machines, pumps, and robotics, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The role involves quality monitoring, equipment cleanup, and collaboration with other teams to meet production orders. Applicants should have at least 1 year in manufacturing and be able to operate packaging

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen years old and legally authorized to work.
Prefer 1+ year experience in manufacturing/distribution and ability to monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators.
Experience operating packaging equipment and using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).

Responsibilities

Operate paint making control systems and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
Breakdown and clean all equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, and lines.
Package and label filled containers to specifications.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
Comply with policies and standard operating procedures.
Keep equipment logs and report breakdowns promptly.
Maintain production records and collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines.
Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
Provide technical support and training to team members.
Contribute ideas to improve manufacturing procedures.
