Job description

FileCloud (based in Austin, Texas) is looking for a passionate Junior IT Project Coordinator (Software Delivery) with 1+ years of experience in project management and delivery related tasks. The primary job of a delivery coordinator is to ensure the product release goes smoothly and runs its course with the fewest possible interruptions.

Our products are used by many global 2000 and Fortune 500 companies and world-leading public sector organizations. FileCloud recently closed a $30 million Series A investment led by Savant Growth to address the growing demand for enterprise security, compliance, and workflow automation. We are currently expanding our team as we grow and improve FileCloud.

Responsibilities:

  1. Keep track of Software delivery (Major / Minor / Hotfix) timelines
  2. Keep track of issues and deliverables that were part of past and future releases
  3. Maintain the delivery and release dashboard
  4. Work closely with Release Manager, Development, QA, and Support teams to track the progress of releases
  5. Verify sign-off on software deliverables
  6. Manage the internal ticket tracking system
  7. Monitor the software build & systems
  8. Perform acceptance testing before and after release
  9. Proofread release notes before release
  10. Responsible for end-to-end project management throughout the life cycle of software/system development
  11. Directs and leads the efforts of a project team to deliver a completed project

  3. Certification in project management methodologies such as SCRUM master is a plus
  4. Exposure to Source Control Tools such as GIT and Bit Bucket
  5. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
  6. Working Knowledge of Windows and Linux Environments
  7. Experience with engineering processes and best practices
  8. Experience with indirect leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  9. Experience visualizing multi-team progress in combined views and managing changes to plan
  10. A growth mindset focused on driving continuous improvement
  11. Ability to learn new tools and processes
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  13. A passion and desire for learning, technology, and delivering quality products
  14. Self-starter, highly motivated, and works with little or no supervision
  15. Must be available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. US Central Time
