Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive figure skating background with coaching or competitive experience.
• Proven leadership and staff supervision experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with ISI and USFS standards and competition operations.
• Current SafeSport compliance and ISI certification.
• Proficiency with office software and scheduling tools.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine a comprehensive skating curriculum for all ages and skill levels.
• Lead and mentor instructors with training, lesson plan support, and regular performance evaluations.
• Track student progress and communicate advancement recommendations to families.
• Oversee academy registrations, cancellations, credits, transfers, make-ups, and customer service needs.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute skating camps with staffing and rosters.
• Create and supervise camp programs and manage related budgets and materials.
• Oversee coaching operations and maintain employment records and compliance.
• Manage administrative operations for NorCal Elite teams, including finances and contracts.
• Plan and execute figure skating competitions and shows, including registrations and logistics.
• Oversee daily office operations, staff training, and customer service.
