Job summary

Deutsche Bank in New York is seeking an Associate to support the FIG coverage team, performing financial modeling, analysis, and deal execution across M&A and capital markets. You will assist in preparing memoranda and client presentations and collaborate with senior bankers on live transactions.

The role requires experience in investment banking with a focus on the Financial Institutions Group, a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), and licensing expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets.
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle.
• Background in the FIG space (Asset Management, Banks & Diversified Financials, FinTech, InsurTech).
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live transactions for the FIG coverage team and prepare memoranda and client materials.
• Apply financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to evaluate acquisitions, financings, and equity raises.
• Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models.
• Issue final reports of client interactions to senior management.
