Job summary

Deutsche Bank in New York seeks an Analyst for Investment Banking & Capital Markets – Financial Institutions Group to support live transactions, prepare memoranda and presentations, and analyze client company attributes.

You will apply financial and quantitative methods to evaluate acquisitions, financings, and equity raises, develop advanced analyses and models, and report outcomes to senior management across FIG sectors including asset management, banks, fintech, and insurtech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred).
• Experience in investment banking with quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions (IPOs, equity follow-ons, debt offerings).
• Background in the FIG space (Asset Management, Banks & Diversified Financials, FinTech, InsurTech).
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live transactions for the FIG coverage team, including preparation of memoranda and presentations and analyzing client attributes.
• Apply financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods to evaluate acquisitions, financings, and equity raises.
• Develop and apply advanced financial analyses and models.
• Issue final reports of client interactions to senior management and maintain ongoing communication.
