Qualifications

• State teacher licensure/certification as required.
• Bachelor’s degree with subject area emphasis and/or coursework to be deemed highly qualified.
• Demonstrated commitment to students’ learning and achievement.
• Experience in tutoring/teaching and parent relations.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce student discipline code.
• Plan a program of study aligned with state and school standards.
• Develop lesson plans and review/receive feedback to improve instruction.
• Collaborate with inclusive education staff to support students with special needs.
• Support grant-funded programming and communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations.
