Job summary

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce behavior codes.
• Plan a program of study aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Develop and submit lesson plans; collaborate with instructional coach for feedback.
• Ensure curriculum remains aligned to state standards.
• Collaborate with special education staff on inclusive practices and IEPs.
• Contribute to grant-funded initiatives to accelerate learning for diverse students.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and required documentation.
• Communicate with parents; be available outside regular hours and provide updates.
• Maintain professional development; pursue credential upkeep and qualifications.
• Inform school leaders of needed instructional resources; participate in teams.
• May participate in extracurricular activities as needed.
