Job summary

Roy Hill Mine Site is seeking a Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance Crew in the wash bay on a FIFO roster. Start ASAP and roster is 7 days on, 7 nights, 14 days off, with location Roy Hill Mine Site (FIFO).

You will support the maintenance team, assist with equipment preparation, cleaning, and general trade support duties while working safely in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a White Card and valid LF forklift licence.
• Loader ticket with proven loader operating experience is required.
• Current Australian driver’s licence is required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance team in the wash bay.
• Assist with equipment preparation and cleaning.
• Provide general trade support in a fast-paced mining environment.

About the Role:

This role involves supporting the maintenance team within the wash bay, assisting with equipment preparation, cleaning, and general trade support duties while working safely in a fast-paced mining environment.

To be considered, you must have:

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)
• Loader Ticket with proven loader operating experience
• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or in a mining maintenance environment (highly regarded)
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
