Job summary

Aalo Atomics is seeking a Field Welder to join our Field Operations team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on precision welding, fabrication, installation, and field support across multiple sites.

You will read engineering drawings, weld symbols, and procedures to ensure quality work and safety on every assignment. Based in the United States, you will travel to project locations, operate basic heavy equipment when qualified, and contribute to a growing program that advances nuclear microreactor

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain proficiency in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding.
• Read and interpret fabrication prints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols.
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate basic heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate in field using qualified processes and procedures.
• Perform welding on stainless and carbon steel per drawings and specs.
• Travel to various work locations to support Field Operations.
• Read fabrication prints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality, and organization on site.
