Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a skilled welder to design, fabricate, join, and repair equipment using welding techniques including oxygen-acetylene, MIG, and TIG. Field welding experience and line boring capabilities are essential.

Candidates must have CDL B with Air Brake endorsement and knowledge of applicable codes. Ability to read plans and operate welding tools and metalworking equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Must have prior welding experience.
• Knowledge of applicable codes.
• Proficient in welding techniques (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG), tools and equipment.
• Must have LINE boring experience.
• MUST HAVE CDL B with Air Brake Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for field welding to include line boring services (where applicable)
• Designs, fabricates, joins, and/or repairs equipment, fixtures and various types of metal objects and structures utilizing oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools
• Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of welding projects
• Estimates material and labor
• Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered
• Other functions and responsibilities as requested by management

Job Summary
