Job summary

TRU LAND Equipment, a John Deere dealer with 18 locations in Indiana and Ohio, is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to install grain handling equipment and perform fabrication, welding, and repairs while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will build and install grain handling systems, use welding, torching and grinding tools, and coordinate with cranes and subcontractors in a fast-paced, safety‑driven team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred in Agriculture or welding/fabrication.
• 2+ years welding, fabrication, assembly and repair service experience.
• Welding and fabrication experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on the job and by phone.
• Build and install new grain handling equipment.
• Use welding, torching and grinding equipment safely and effectively.
• Work with cranes and subcontractors at the job site.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and timely job recordkeeping.
• Communicate safety measures and adhere to procedures.
• Collaborate with team and management to meet goals.
• Assist with repairs of used equipment as needed.
