Job summary

Peak Utility Services Group is seeking a skilled welder for our MA operation. The role requires extensive welding experience and familiarity with gas and oil industry projects. You will read blueprints, operate welding equipment, and perform high‑quality welds to exact specifications.

Candidates must pass client weld tests (API-1104, ASME B31) and have a valid driver’s license within two weeks of employment. This is an on‑site position with safety as a core value.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of welding experience.
• Three or more years of experience in the gas or oil industry.
• Pass client weld tests to include API-1104 and ASME B31.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State Driver’s License within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Works with welding equipment and tools.
• Reads engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan welding operations.
• Maintains safety and follows company and DOT regulations.
• Prepares surfaces and sets up welding areas for operations.
• Inspects completed welds for conformance to specifications.
• Maintains paperwork and reports as required.
