Job summary

Tate Metalworks, Inc. is seeking a field welder to perform welding, repair, and maintenance on industrial job sites. You will follow Tate Metalworks and customer safety programs while supporting on-site operations.

Candidates must have FCAW experience, pass an open butt test in multiple positions, and be willing to work overnight and travel. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass an open butt FCAW plate test in 3 positions: vertical, horizontal, overhead.
• Field Construction Welding Experience: FCAW.
• Tank building field experience preferred.
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and travel as required.
• Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

Employee Requirements & Qualifications

• Pass an open butt, (FCAW) flux core arc welding plate test, (3) positions: vertical, horizontal, overhead
• Field Construction Welding Experience: FCAW
• Tank building field experienced preferred
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and travel as required
• Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and temperatures
• Climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, kneel, bend for extended periods

Work Environment

• Industrial construction sites, refineries, terminals, manufacturing facilities, and tank farms
• Exposure to changingenvironmental conditions
