Job summary

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Field Welder for our Turner Lining division. The role involves extrusion welding, material handling, and equipment operation within a manufacturing setting that uses HDPE liners.

You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and perform finishing tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and travel up to 60% with per diem considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with extrusion welding preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Carpentry, metal fabrication or welding experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Perform extrusion welding and related finishing tasks.
• Handle materials and manage scrap accordingly.
• Prepare materials and complete product finishing processes.
• Operate fabrication equipment and forklifts as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety procedures.

About Us

HK Solutions Group is a leading plastic fabrication company that provides HDPE liners for precast and cast in place applications. We utilize Agru Sure-Grip HDPE concrete protective liner to extend the life of precast concrete, cast in place concrete and rehab applications in the municipal wastewater business.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the employee to lift and move heavy items, which require the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The employee must have the ability to stand and be mobile, and the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods. The position requires full range of body motion on daily basis. This includes twisting, bending, reaching, and squatting.
