Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. in Wilmington, NC seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to conduct patient fittings for wearable defibrillators and support the sales team with clinical expertise.

The role requires travel within the region, in-office and field visits, and training to become certified as an ASSURE Patient Specialist. This is a paid per fitting position with a focus on patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background which may include nurses, cardiac device sales representatives, clinical engineers, ETC.
• Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
• Completion of background check and credentialing requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel in the defined region and meet hospital system credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assigned fittings.
• Provide clear instruction and confidence-building care to Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Possibility of daytime, evening, and weekend hours; travel to hospitals and homes.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits and equipment used in fittings.
