Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Field Water Treatment Technician. This mobile, field-based role involves installing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining water treatment equipment at client sites across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience operating water treatment systems (solids removal, media or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and process systems in a field environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel 90% or more to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and operation for mobile water treatment equipment.
• Operate water treatment systems during project periods and monitor chemistry (Chlorine, Iron, TDS, pH, flow).
• Adjust system controls and dosing to maintain water quality under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair field equipment failures and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and document actions.
• Record operational data and generate field reports for management.
