Job summary

SPL in Reading, PA, is seeking a part-time Water Sampling Technician to perform regulated environmental sampling and field operations. The role requires independent execution of sampling programs and coordination between field and laboratory teams.

Schedule options include Tue/Thu 2pm-7pm or Thu/Fri 2pm-7pm plus Sat/Sun 8am-12pm. This position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth with a company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Hands-on experience in field services, regulated sampling, warehouse, or related roles.
• Familiarity with field sampling techniques and equipment operation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulated environmental sampling and sample collection per approved methods and regulations.
• Travel to client sites to pick up and deliver samples per routes and schedules.
• Maintain sample custody, integrity, and regulatory holding times during transport.
• Deploy, program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain composite sampling equipment.
• Document maintenance, field activities, and any corrective actions.
