Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Utility Tool & Testing Technician in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time role handles inspection, testing, repair, refurbishing, and assembly of specialized equipment used in the electric utility industry.

The candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy troubleshooting, and deliver high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities include supporting equipment certification, inventory, and customer fulfillment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test equipment.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, work instructions, and testing procedures.
• Ability to identify worn, damaged, or non-conforming components and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Basic computer skills for entering inspection, testing, repair, and inventory data.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong attendance record and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sort, diagnose, repair, and test stringing blocks and related equipment.
• Inspect, repair, refurbish, and test fiberglass equipment.
• Inspect, test, and certify rubber insulating goods and related tools.
• Assemble, repair, and test grounding and bonding cable assemblies.
