Job summary

UtiliQuest is seeking an entry-level Utility Locator to learn and apply safety rules while locating underground utility lines for construction projects. You will work alongside experienced locators, operate locating equipment, and record findings to ensure safe and efficient work.

The role includes field training across the US, with overtime, travel, and on-call responsibilities as needed. A valid drivers license and a HS diploma are required; relocation is not necessary.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state drivers license with an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques and safety protocols.
• Operate utility locating equipment.
• Mark underground utility lines with field teams.
• Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call as needed.
• Attend classroom and field training sessions.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance at shifts and training.
• Perform work in all weather conditions and on extended shifts.
