Job summary

USIC is seeking an outdoor utility locator to locate and mark underground utilities in designated areas using company vehicles and equipment. You will complete documentation and photographs for each locate while working in a fast-paced field environment.

The role is daytime, full-time with overtime, weekend and on-call possibilities. We provide paid training, a company vehicle, daily pay, comprehensive insurance, a 401(k) plan with match, PTO, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
