Job summary

Corby Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a Utility Construction Laborer to join our field crew in Michigan. You’ll work hands-on on trenchless rehabilitation projects, installing CIPP systems for water and sewer infrastructure, and travel statewide as needed.

Reporting to Foreman/Project Manager, this non-exempt role is based out of Whitmore Lake, MI with a strong safety-first culture. Expect a union-based compensation approach with a minimum starting pay of $31.66/hour (includes a $2.00 CDL

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A Driver’s License.
• Strong work ethic and team-first mindset.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, participate in random drug testing, and maintain a satisfactory driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground water and sewer utilities.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Install and remove water and sewer mains in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Travel to project sites throughout Michigan as needed.
• Support and assist our cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation crews.
