Job summary

A leading electrical systems firm in Atlanta seeks a qualified technician to perform maintenance on critical power systems, including UPS. The role involves diagnosing issues, providing technical support, and conducting preventive maintenance. Candidates must have an AA/BS degree in Electrical/Electronics, and a minimum of 7 years OEM experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to use various electrical test equipment are essential. This position requires occasional travel and availability for emergency calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years OEM experience or eight years in power electronic maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose electrical system malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on UPS systems.
• Maintain and safeguard company-issued equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers.

Skills

Proficiency in reading technical blueprints

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to evaluate complex electrical systems

Knowledge of NEC
