Job summary

Steve & Kate's in New York City is seeking Field Trip staff to supervise and engage campers during trips, ensuring safety and wellness while traveling by bus to multiple stops. You’ll connect with kids, foster curiosity, and help create a playful, inclusive environment where everyone can be their authentic selves.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with at least 2 months of camp-age child experience (1 year preferred), and First Aid & CPR certification before Day 1.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience with camp-age children; 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certification prior to Day 1 of Camp.

Responsibilities

• Chaperone field trips, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Travel by bus to multiple stops, while engaging with kids.
• Actively supervising campers
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies
• Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self
• Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
