Job summary

stevekatescamp is hiring Field Trip staff in New York City to guide campers on planned outings, supervise staff and campers, and help with day-to-day operations. You'll travel by bus or public transit and help ensure safety, inclusivity, and budget compliance.

You’ll build leadership skills, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to a creative, playful camp culture. The role requires 18+, 2+ months experience with camp-age children, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.

Responsibilities

• Supervise campers and staff; oversee day-to-day operations.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and manage budget and supplies.
• Travel by bus or public transit to multiple stops while keeping campers safe.
