Job summary

Steve and Kate's Camps in Menlo Park, CA is seeking field trip staff to supervise and engage campers during bus-based daily outings. You will supervise, connect with children, and help ensure safe, creative experiences in our program.

The role emphasizes calm leadership, positive interaction, and ability to work with a team while maintaining kid-centered energy. On-site shifts with pay between $21.25 and $23.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Chaperone field trips, monitor safety and wellness, and travel by bus between stops.
• Actively supervising campers and ensuring safety compliance.
• Report notable concerns, incidents, or injuries to campers or staff, and track allergies/dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with the team to support campers' learning and play.
