Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Field Testing Specialist to manage trait characterization and development trials at the Cairo, GA Research Center. You will plan, plant, collect data, and harvest to advance product development, embracing evolving tech and methodologies for high-quality research.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in agriculture or related field with 2–4 years of agronomy, strong data handling, and excellent communication. Some travel and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field with 2–4 years of experience in agronomy, biology, plant breeding or a related field.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software; strong data handling skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and run experiments following detailed protocols.
• Assist in data collection for crop protection and trait testing.
• Monitor trial locations and communicate best practices.
• Assist with regulated trial management and monitoring.
• Promote site safety culture and adhere to safety standards.
• Maintain efficient daily and seasonal operations.
• Occasional extended hours and overnight travel during peak periods.
