Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Wisconsin, Arlington, seeks a Field Associate to support R&D Field Trials in corn and soybeans. You will coordinate with growers on leased land, supervise seasonal staff, and help with data analytics, protocols, and study management.

Required a Bachelor’s degree, data skills, and ability to operate field equipment. Traveling up to 15% and extended hours during peak seasons are expected; a company vehicle may be used.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and data management skills.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to operate research agriculture equipment and precision tech.
• Knowledge of region-specific crop production and farming practices.
• Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and experimental design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a driver’s license for medium-heavy vehicles.
• Ability to obtain pesticide applicators license and RPAS drone license.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operation of the research program per standards.
• Collaborate to deliver detailed experimental protocols for decisions.
• Operate research equipment, take notes, and manage data with IT systems.
• Collect, analyze, and deliver data on agronomic traits during season.
• Self-motivate, solve problems, and manage time and projects.
• Build networks with diverse teams and local growers.
• Supervise third-party labor to meet trial objectives.
• Communicate across teams; adapt to change and continuous learning.
• Partner on development plans aligned with LIFE values.
• Travel up to 15%; possible overnight travel and long hours.
