Morton Thomas & Associates, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is hiring Transportation Construction Inspectors to support projects in Frederick and Montgomery County, Maryland.

You will inspect highways, bridges, environmental and traffic systems, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. Join a company with a long-standing ESOP culture, strong project teams, and a commitment to safety, quality, and professional growth.

Formación

• 5+ years of Highway/Bridge construction experience.
• 3 years as Project Superintendent or foreman or comparable position.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to project sites.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform transportation construction inspections on Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, and Facilities type projects
• Research contract plans, specifications & publications prior to conducting inspections
• Write daily inspection reports
• Measure and document for payment the contractor's completed work
• Verify proper maintenance of traffic control devices are used and maintained
• Verify proper erosion and sediment control devices are installed and maintained
• Verify materials are procured from approved suppliers
• Perform field tests on materials (concrete slump/air, soil compaction, and HMA)
• Complete documentation of materials, labor compliance, safety, processing estimates, work orders, and adjustments

SHA Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card)

MD Temporary Traffic Control Manager

MARTCP Concrete/HMA/Soils & Aggregates

OSHA 10 Hour Training

NICET Transportation Certification (Level 1)

MCMS/e-MCMS documentation experience
