Job summary

A. Morton Thomas & Associates, Inc (AMT) is hiring Transportation Construction Technicians to work based out of our Charlotte, NC office, covering Cities, Counties, and Towns throughout the NCDOT Districts.

Interested applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, be available for OT, work nights, and/or weekends as needed, capable of working independently and within a team, and subject to background check.

Qualifications

• Transportation construction experience with NCDOT.
• Candidates with NCDOT certifications (Asphalt Roadway, CEPSCI, Earthwork & Concrete) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify work complies with plans and specs.
• Measure and verify pay quantities, dimensions and specs.
• Act as liaison between DOT/Local Agency Project Manager and prime contractor.
