Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. (EEI) is seeking a Transmission Operator to support field construction for up to 500 kV projects. The role requires operating a range of machinery, performing safety checks, and assisting with energized/de-energized work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include supervising lower graded operators, ensuring safe digging near utilities, and maintaining equipment while meeting MasTec and client standards. A valid driver’s license and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred
• Current and valid crane certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate jobsite equipment safely such as mobile cranes and other construction equipment.
• Work safely during new construction, maintenance or repair of energized/de-energized work.
• Perform safety checks and minor repairs on machines; check oil and fluids.
• Inspect work area before digging; ensure proper staking/locating.
• Train, guide, or oversee lower graded operators and laborers when needed.
• Dig around live utilities, both underground and overhead.
• Load trucks in a safe, accident-free manner.
• Aim to improve operations and provide timely, quality service.
