Job summary

United Protective Services is seeking a dependable Field Training Officer to lead and mentor Security Officers across multiple client locations in Houston. This full-time evening shift offers hands-on leadership, inspections, and incident support.

You'll drive between sites, complete reports, coach staff, ensure post orders are followed, and uphold high standards of service. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Begin and end each shift at the Houston branch office.
• Drive a company vehicle to multiple client locations.
• Conduct site, post, uniform, and officer inspections.
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing Security Officers.
• Ensure officers follow post orders, client requirements, and company policies.
• Respond to incidents and provide field support to officers.
• Assist with officer call-offs and help coordinate coverage.
• Address performance and attendance concerns in accordance with company policy.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and inspection documentation.
• Maintain professional relationships with officers, clients, and the public.
• Assist with fueling and basic maintenance of company vehicles.

United Protective Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Field Training Officer to support security operations across multiple client locations. This is an active field position for a strong leader who can train officers, conduct inspections, respond to operational needs, and maintain high standards of professionalism and service.

Schedule

• Friday–Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do
