Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Tire Technician in Fremont, CA to press and mount tires on lift trucks, man lifts, and skid steers. The role is primarily field-based, with travel in a fully equipped service vehicle and customer interaction.

Two years’ tire pressing experience and mechanical aptitude are preferred. A valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and forklift familiarity are expected. Training is available for forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Two years of tire pressing experience and a mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record and the ability to drive a bobtail truck.
• Ability to frequently lift and move at least 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to drive a 24ft box van.
• Ability to pick orders and manage inventory.
• Ability to operate a forklift. (Training is available)

Responsibilities

• Press and mount tires on lift trucks, man lifts and skid steers.
• Perform related tire work in the field.
• Interact with customers and ensure work is completed correctly.
