Job summary

OSI Engineering seeks a Cellular Test Engineer (5GNR/LTE) for product field testing of smartphones and devices. The role combines field travel with lab work to validate cellular connectivity across nex-gen devices.

The candidate should have 2–7 years in cellular testing with hands-on log analysis for 4G/5G/LTE, and be able to learn cellular field testing if not already experienced. Onsite in Cupertino, CA for 12+ months with travel and training provided.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of cellular testing experience (5G/LTE Stack).
• Knowledge of 5GNR and LTE protocol stack.
• Cellular baseband log analysis for 4G/5G/LTE required.
• Willingness to learn cellular field testing.
• Strong analytical judgment for test campaigns.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and problem focused.

Responsibilities

• Test cellular connectivity of nex-gen smartphones and devices in field and lab.
• Travel to testing locations up to 1 hour away, up to 4 days per week; transport provided.
• Identify issues and report with clear data and reasoning.
• Analyze test results and determine next steps without constant supervision.
• Perform log analysis in the lab and report outcomes.
