Perform integration and test activities comprising of field support of on-going project activities. Perform Field Change modification to existing Designs as needed; Perform field troubleshooting, maintenance in CBTC equipment such as vehicle and wayside systems, and other external tasks related to test documentation and formalization of reports.
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments Excellent organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written, and good interpersonal skills Demonstrated fluency and understanding/comprehension in oral and written English Field experience in a rail transit installation, test or support environment or similar technology application is of significance Experience in support of field activities Strong process orientation and discipline to ensure compliance with both Corporate and Customer procedures Critical thinking, able to identify and implement better efficiencies and process improvements Effective communication skills to interact professionally with all levels inside and outside the organization. Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changes in priorities
Knowledge of automatic train control systems concepts and principles as well as current existing signaling standards Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project site Experience in installation and testing of train control systems Experience in customer interaction and adapting of their processes Working knowledge of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) products with respect to installation support and testing a strong asset Experience in deploying fixed block signaling systems a strong asset Typically 1-2 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above
Salary Range: $93,890.91 - $114,536.36
