Job summary

Aggreko plc in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Temperature Control Technician 2 to perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on HVAC and temperature control equipment at customer sites and in the service center. You will install, test and commission systems, with emphasis on field work and customer service.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and EPA 608 certification, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and HVAC issues and travel locally.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of chiller, commercial A/C or related HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 certification with hands-on knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Comfortable electrical troubleshooting and using meters/schematics to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and temperature control equipment in the field and service center.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tests on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical/HVAC issues using meters and schematics to identify failures.
• Set up and test HVAC/chiller systems at customer sites, including generator-powered applications.
• Provide safe, reliable service in petrochemical and refinery environments per safety standards.
