Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in the United States is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and VoIP services. You will travel to customer sites within a defined geographic area and provide best-in-class service.

You will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, using laptops and field software, and you must be comfortable with physical requirements and on-call work.

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of experience in telecom networks or similar electrical fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working independently with a strong technical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of Cisco systems or similar equipment manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain, various voice, data, security and VoIP communication systems and equipment
• Build on your customer service skills, ensure work orders are completed
• Travel to and from customer locations in a defined geographic area performing installation of services on behalf of our client
• Utilize a laptop computer and various software applications
