AGE Solutions is seeking experienced Field Engineers to support a telecommunications infrastructure refresh for a federal customer in Washington, DC. This role focuses on installing and maintaining Cat6 copper and fiber optic cabling in secure environments, following BICSI standards and using certification tools.

The position requires DoD Top Secret clearance, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to work night shifts onsite in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in field engineering.
• Experience installing/maintaining Cat6 and fiber cabling in federal environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, label, and troubleshoot Cat6 and fiber cabling per standards.
• Set up telecom infrastructure including patch panels, enclosures, racks, and cable trays.
• Read telecom drawings and installation docs; coordinate with engineers and managers.
• Support night shift and work across multiple buildings and secure environments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, federal security, and safety requirements.
