Job summary

WaterFleet, LLC is seeking a reliable Field Service Technician to join our Operations team in Midland, TX. The role involves delivering water and wastewater purification trailers to remote customer sites, performing maintenance and repairs, and rigging equipment as sites relocate.

You will work independently and on a team, often in extreme weather, with occasional on-call shifts. Ideal candidates are hands-on, safety-minded and capable of communicating clearly with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience with field water/wastewater equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in remote locations and extended shifts.
• Must be able to work in varied weather and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water and wastewater purification trailers to remote customer sites
• Repair and maintain wastewater equipment, and associated contact with raw sewage
• Rig equipment up/down as customer sites relocate
• Perform various types of basic preventative maintenance & repairs
• Plumbing from source to delivery
• Communicate clearly & respectfully with both co-workers and customers
• Monitor the performance of water and wastewater purification units
• Coordinate maintenance activities with System Operators, Lead Technicians, FSTs and Remote Monitoring Technicians

General Information:

Title:Field Service Technician (FST)

Reports to: Field Superintendent.

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay: Bi-Weekly

Site: Functions in the field out of either Midland, TX supporting the Permian Basin.

Hours: 10 days-on/5 days-off hitch schedule for non-local employees, M-F schedule for employees who live locally

Supervisory Responsibility:

• FST has no direct reports;

Position Overview:

WaterFleet, LLC is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Water/Wastewater Technicians (WWT) to join our Operations team. WWT must be able to function effectively both as a member of a rig-move team, and also independently in the delivery of service, maintenance and repairs. Work locations are remote, geographically dispersed, and fully exposed to all extremes of weather. WWST will work directly and indirectly with a small crew. Successful performance will require both physical and mental exertion & resilience. Maintenance issues that occur after-hours will be addressed in an on-call rotation basis. WWT will frequently drive long distances, work with exposed wastewater (sewage), and experience double & triple shifts consecutively. The successful WWT must be able to accomplish these tasks without compromising the delivery of quality, safety, or customer service.
