Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP is seeking a Field Technician Turn to accelerate tenant turnover and uphold property quality. You will manage turns, inspections, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely, compliant work.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, tool proficiency, and OSHA awareness. A valid driver’s license and EPA/HVAC credentials are preferred. Expect a collaborative, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in Residential/Property Maintenance or related field required, or five years of experience in lieu of education.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with an Apple iPad, HVAC, Resco, and CRM preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Universal EPA Certification or HVAC Type II Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• OSHA knowledge is required.

We’re seeking a dedicated Field Technician Turn to expedite our tenant turn process and uphold our property quality standards.

• Comfortable lifting/carrying: 75 pounds to waist height, 75 pounds to shoulder height, 20 pounds above the head.
• Capable of operating a motor vehicle and climbing ladders (A‑frame and extension ladders) to perform tasks such as tree trimming and removal of debris and leaves from roof gutters.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range is $28.00 to $32.00 hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience. The position is also eligible for quarterly bonus payments.
