Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in the United States (Arizona) to perform field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, and asphalt on construction projects. You will document test results and support quality control efforts.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field testing experience, knowledge of standard test methods, and strong communication skills. The role involves site work, data management, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing or related field.
• Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
• Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
• Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
• Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.
