SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team in Centennial, CO. The successful candidate will perform field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, and asphalt on construction projects and will document test results to support quality control efforts.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
• Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
• Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
• Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Certifications

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
• Radiation Safety Certification
• Additional ICC, WAQTC, NICET, or related construction inspection certifications are a plus.

Additional Information

Salary range: $18-23/hour
